AI + Product Systems
Product strategy, interaction design, and design systems for AI ventures whose technical capability has outpaced their product coherence.

AI products are systems of access, visibility, trust, memory, and consequence. The work begins by mapping those relationships before designing the interface.
The method is continuous with the studio's building practice: clarify actors and thresholds, establish an organising structure, and test the system under real conditions. At the BGI Sprint finals, that included a live recovery path when a model failed during the demo.

A restrained visual and verbal system for an AGI research ecosystem, adopted event-wide and shipped as a real product line.
View design-system case studyWays to engage the studio.
Four defined engagements, each tied to a specific stage of product development.
Product-logic audit
One to two weeks. Map actors, flows, decision points, and trust conditions; deliver product logic, interface principles, and a prioritised set of changes. Fixed fee.
Fractional product ownership
Ongoing, typically two or three days per week. Product direction, interaction design, and the design system, embedded with the team.
Design-system + brand sprint
Three to four weeks. A restrained visual and verbal system that a distributed team can apply across product, communications, and launch.
Launch narrative
Short engagement. Positioning, product narrative, and first-run experience that make a technical product legible to users, partners, and funders.
Describe where coherence is breaking down.
Send the product, users, current stage, and the decision the team cannot yet resolve. The studio will respond with a proposed scope, schedule, and fee.
